HOPE & REALITY (1)
Life always flows like a river between 2 banks. The stream flows so swiftly past steep rocks and surging waterfalls. Then the river gradually widens and expands, until the banks are farther apart and the waters flow more calmly and finally head out into the great ocean.
That's the journey of our life. A series of failures and successes, suffering and happiness. Everything always flows hand in hand and is a series of events in every episode of life that continues to flow, until it finally meets the peak of life (facing Allah Ta'ala).
In the journey of life, humans will never escape victory and defeat. Happiness and sadness. Everything alternates like the wheel of life which is always turning, sometimes it is above and sometimes it is below. However, if we live this life with full sincerity, patience and gratitude, then we will never experience a UNDER TIME, because we will still feel happy and comfortable wherever our position is.
Live this life like water that keeps flowing over steep rocks and wading through churning waterfalls. Victory is not always beautiful and defeat is not always sad. When we win, but that victory actually brings us to arrogance. So actually we are in a HUGE DEFEAT, and vice versa, when we are losing but we have a high spirit to get up, then at that moment we have become REAL WINNER.
Many things look so beautiful and we have everything planned. However, sometimes the plan does not materialize at all. "When HOPE doesn't match REALITY". Because Allah Ta'ala knows best, that it is not the best for us, then He replaces our plans with His plans which are far more perfect.
Allah Ta'ala also said:
"Perhaps you hate something, even though it is very good for you, and it may be that you like something, even though it is very bad for you; Allah knows, while you do not know"
(QS Al Baqarah 216).
We will also smile and realize that it turns out that the failures and mistakes we have made in the past have become pearls of invaluable lessons as provisions for wading through the future. There are failures and trials that confront not to make us turn away from Him. But to draw us closer to Him. Because Allah Ta'ala misses people's prayers.
"If Allah likes a servant then he will be tested so that Allah will hear his supplication (his humility)"
(Narrated by Al-Baihaqi).
